National Chocolate Day with The Benoit Viellefon Quintet

Sat 28th Oct. 9:30:pm

Benoit directs an ensemble of internationally acclaimed musicians in a manner reminiscent of Duke Ellington, Cab Calloway and Charles Trenet at the very height of their popularity. Showcasing a repertoire of the most beautiful and uplifting songs from the 1920s, 1930s and 1940s including French chanson, swing, jive, Russian-folk, charleston, Latin American and Cuban dance music, as well as originals in the same classic style, this is one of the leading vintage dance ensembles to have emerged from the UK in recent years.

"...will effortlessly sweep you away on sonic gossamer wings to the happy, happy place of your choice."

Benoit V will also be playing a Late Set at 00.30. Cover will be charged at £4 for guests staying on or £5 on the door.
