Frank Biddulph's ability to blend a rhythmic improvising style with the lyrical qualities of the violin has led to tours with North African group Fantazia and Balkan group Mukka, and to recording work with the Waterboys and Stereo MCs. He also produced Mukka’s recent Radio 1 John Peel Session. Guitarist Dominic Grant has a background rooted in calypso, jazz and Eastern European music.
He has performed in America with bandleaders such as Gary Puckett and Albert ‘Tootie’ Heath, and recently toured the UK with Eduardo Niebla.Mark Cherrie is an award-winning writer of music for film and television who also happens to be one of the most melodic steelpan players in the country, thanks largely to having grown with the steelpan playing of his father, Ralph Cherrie. Together they are the wonderful Festivo.
