The RP Quartet

60's jazz cooked with Django sauce

This is the motto of the RP Quartet, gypsy jazz band essential of the Parisian scene. The birth of this project between these artists has allowed each musician to bring his passion for jazz, while meeting around a common culture: the gypsy swing!

The quartet is a group that revives the 1960's jazz repertoire in the spirit of the French Quartet Hot Club founded by Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli.

With the unequalled rhythm of Parisian Gypsy jazz, two guitars, a violin and a double-bass make the group. Everything started at the renowned international jazz school "Didier Lockwood Music Center".

From West Side Story to Nougaro, and from Thelonious Monk to Miles Davis, the repertoire reveals the many facets of one of the most beautiful jazz areas.

"The most atypical and creative gypsy jazz band of this century" The Jazzophone

"Melodies that thrill the crowd" The Washington Post

"Real French jazzmen AOC" Django Station

"Uncompromising precision and boundless energy" Musik Please

In addition to the regular performance at 21:30, The RP Quartet will also be playing a Late Set at 00.30. Cover will be charged at £4 for guests staying on or £5 on the door.
